My story
The quality of your life is determined by the quality of questions you ask, which then leads to quality answers and quality results. From the moment I first heard this phrase spoken into existence, it dawned upon me that in order for me to continue in my journey towards success, I must be able to ask and answer this specific question: How can I take the accumulation of all the knowledge
and skills I have learned to better serve others in ways that are not being met. This was the moment I realized that after identifying the problem, the next course of action was to implement a solution for it.
I have spent years of my adult life acquiring knowledge through reading self-improvement books, networking, and achieving my BSN degree to work as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse. It is through acquiring this knowledge that I am now able to identify the “problem” and the “solution”. The problem: Most individuals in the world are living life with a false sense of identity and self-image. The Solution: Helping individuals unlock the character within through developing their true sense of identity and self-image. Thus, leading to the creation of BLK HAKI. This is my story. the meaning
BLK HAKI is unique in its name and meaning. BLK stands for Build | Level Up | Konquer Imagination. In addition to BLK being an acronym, it could also be read as “Black” which acts as an underlying meaning that’s connected to the inspiration for the creation of the company.
HAKI is a Japanese term that can translate to mean “Will”, “Willpower”, and “Ambition”. By combining “BLK” and “HAKI”, the aim is to utilize the Willpower within to strengthen the ability to Build, Level Up, and Konquer your Imagination.
the inspiration
“HAKI” is connected to my favorite anime called One Piece. In the show, Haki is something all living organisms are born with; however, whenever Haki is unlocked and utilized, it acts as a mysterious power capable of allowing the user to utilize their own spiritual energy in various ways.
As mentioned before, “BLK” could be read as “Black” because it is something that pays homage to a power concept called “Armament” Haki in the One Piece anime series. In addition, “Armament” is a type of Haki that allows the user to utilize their own “Willpower” to coat their body in armor that strengthens their attacks and protects their body. This is important because each available product being offered through BLK HAKI has the capabilities of coating the body in armor and to awaken any passive abilities lying dormant within any individual.
values & mission
When it comes to demonstrating and/or providing value, I thoroughly believe the number one thing I would place the highest prioritization on would be building and leveling up an individual’s identity. Furthermore, I strongly value individuals with a growth mindset, individuals with creativity, and individuals looking to fight against mental illness.
I am just as human as any other individual, which is why I believe our mission should be able to coincide with each other. This is why I have made it my personal mission to continuously make strides towards helping individuals Unlock the Character Within by awakening their latent abilities lying dormant within them. The purpose of “Unlocking” is to allow actionable steps fueled by willpower to shape our imagination. Furthermore, this mission can be accomplished through the consistent and persistent effort to take the initiative to perform more actionable steps and upgrading the software in the brain by changing the perspective.
